The Young Energy Researchers Conference 2023 will take place on 28 February 2023 in Wels/Austria as part of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED).
Young researchers and professionals in the fields of biomass and energy efficiency are invited to submit contributions to the Call for Papers, deadline 10 October 2022. The costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport will be covered for up to 60 selected participants.
The Young Energy Researchers Conference is dedicated to presenting the work and achievements of young researchers in the fields of 1) energy efficiency and 2) biomass. It offers an opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world and to build-up a peer network. The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards “Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher” and “Best Young Biomass Researcher” and receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.
The event is organised by the regional energy agency of Upper Austria, OÖ Energiesparverband (ESV), as part of the annual World Sustainable Energy Days – a leading international conference on the energy transition and climate neutrality. “Energy Transition = Energy security” is the motto of the WSED 2023.
