This conference is organised in the framework of the European SWIP project, you will learn about new technological developments in small wind turbines, and how to best integrate small turbines into urban areas, taking account of aesthetic impact, noise, vibration and safety issues, social awareness and acceptance, and regulatory and commercial limitations.
The conference will be of interest for national and regional policy-makers public bodies and other stakeholders in the wind energy sector looking to understand how to increase the use of Small Wind Turbines in cities and regions across Europe.
Alongside presentations from the project partners, the conference will include an opening speech from Ignacio Cruz, Operating Agent for IEA Wind’s Task 27 on Small Wind Turbines, and will conclude with a moderated discussion and networking reception.
Attendance is free of charge but registration is required.
