As part of the EUREC networking activities, EUREC will organised an expert workshop on “Sustainability and circularity in renewable energy technology” on the 9^th of June. It is not enough to generate zero-carbon cost-effectively. In a finite world, renewable energy technologies must also be made from safe and recoverable materials and where possible offer environmental co-benefits when they are installed. What is best practice today and what does the future hold?
