The 12th International Renewable Energy Storage Conference (IRES2018) aims to promote a cohesive overview of the world of storage technologies that can enable the complete transition to a decentralized renewable energy system. The focus of the conference is expanded beyond just the current state of specific technologies to case studies, applications, country scenarios and comprehensive trends.
The Program
The event is based on two thematic foci: the scientific research on storage technology, legal frameworks, network and market aspects (IRES) and the business and finance aspects for the rollout of these technologies to the global market (ESE). In up to 5 parallel sessions, ranging from power-to-x, batteries and thermal energy storage to energy system analysis and applications & case studies, 180 international experts in science, politics and economics present recent knowledge on energy storage technologies. In addition, more than 160 exhibitors present their applications and solutions at the fair.
The Tickets
For an optimized visit and better networking of the participants, the organizers offer only one ticket for the IRES + ESE (conference + expo). This way, participants are able to follow presentations in all parallel sessions and visit the exhibition without purchasing separate tickets. Alongside the conferences, two networking events on the first and second evening of the event offer the opportunity to continue discussions and establish new contacts.
