The Unplugged projectwill celebrate its final event with a workshop and live demonstration oninductive charging for electric vehicles. TheEuropean project Unplugged – Inductive Charging for Electric Vehicles -, hasorganized its final event next 26th of March in Zaragoza, Spain.
The Unpluggedproject aims to investigate how the use of inductive charging of ElectricVehicles (EV) in urban environments improves the convenience and sustainabilityof car-based mobility. Inparticular, it has investigated how smart inductive charging infrastructure canfacilitate full EV integration in the urban road systems while improvingcustomer acceptance and perceived practicality. Unplugged has examined indetail the technical feasibility, practical issues, interoperability, userperception and socio-economic impacts of inductive charging.
During theevent the partners will present the project results, among which there is theconstruction of an inductive charging station, that will be demonstrated onlive. Inaddition, two parallel sessions have been organized, where stakeholders willbe able to discuss about inductive charging and the challenge and opportunitiesof the electro mobility sector.
Theworkshop will be held at CIRCE’s headquarters, one of the project partners. Theevent is free of charge, although registration is required due to limitedseats.
