EU Sustainable Energy Week to take place next 15-19 June 2015
Thedates are set for next year’s leading event on the promotion of a secure, cleanand efficient energy for Europe. The EU Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW)will take place from 15 to 19 June 2015in Brussels and across Europe. The European Commission invites you to be partof it, organising an Energy Day, applying for the Sustainable Energy EuropeAwards or attending one of the hundreds of events to take place during the entire month of June 2015. The SustainableEnergy Europe Awards, the EU reference prize for sustainable energyprojects in Europe, are officially open. If you are proud of your results inreducing your carbon footprint or if you deserve further recognition for yourachievements in sustainable energy, the Awards are made for you. This yearprojects can compete in the categories EnergyEfficiency, Cities, Communities and Regions and one categoryspecially dedicated to Renewable Energy.
Nomineesand winners will be invited to the Awards ceremony that will take place in Brusselsduring the EU Sustainable Energy Week, giving them great visibility at theEuropean level. Articles and videos will present the winning projects asinnovation leaders and role models for sustainable energy. We stronglyencourage you to submit an early description to take full advantage of the Secretariat’spersonalised feedback. (Firstevaluation deadline is January 31.
