A call for proposals has opened for teams of scientists to use the research facilities of the 16-member DERRI network (Distributed Energy Resources Research Infrastructure) free of charge. Expenses connected to infrastructure usage and with travel to the infrastructure and accommodation nearby for the team while it works will be covered by the European Commission through the 7th Framework Programme. The next cut-off for evaluating proposals is 30 June 2012. The cut-off after that is 30 November.
More than 20 research teams have taken advantage of this scheme to conduct a wide range of projects since it was launched in 2010.
