This year programme will focus on accelerating clean innovations as a driver of success for the energy transition.

We stand undoubtedly at a turning point of the energy transition: the cost of renewables has become more competitive and most of the technologies that will allow a decarbonised energy system are already available.

Yet a final push is badly needed, and this will come through a faster adoption of the clean innovations as well as through the involvement of the whole society in it.

We will analyse the tools that we have in our hand to reach this competitive low carbon economy: the role of public actors as launching customers, the new initiatives to leverage EU funds with private investments to mobilise the investment needed and how to get a more active involvement of consumers in order to become “prosumers”.

Because there will be no successful energy transition without appropriation of this topic by the whole society. We want to act as agitators and contribute to the engagement of citizens and to the adoption of clean innovations by the society.
