Giulia Serra works as a policy officer in the DG ENER unit responsible for Innovation, clean technologies and competitiveness. She has a Master’s degree on Management of International Business with a specialisation on renewable energy market. After an experience as project manager in a consulting company operating in the photovoltaic sector, she is now the coordinator of DG ENER activities aimed at assessing EU competitiveness of clean energy technologies. During the last year, she has contributed to the preparation of the first Competitiveness Progress Report, an in depth analysis capturing the clean energy ecosystem competitiveness current status aimed at supporting better policy actions in the future.
