Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform: one-stop-shop about the exciting European Initiative
The first order of business following the launch of the Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform is Working Groups` Membership. All potential candidates are invited to apply for membership in one of the four open Working Groups (please note that membership in the Smart City Roadmap group is by invitation only). These Working and Coordination Groups are at the heart of the Smart Cities Stakeholder Platform and will allow the Platform to become an effective, useful space to promote innovation and technology integration for European cities.
Eligible candidates have to create a public profile to apply for membership in one of these four groups:
- Energy Efficiency and Buildings
- Energy Supply Networks
- Mobility and Transport
- Finance Coordination Group
The application process will be closed on 25 April 2012 and all applications will be reviewed by the Working Group chairs. The members of the Working Groups will be announced at the beginning of May.
Please note that the first meeting of all the Working Groups will take place in Brussels on the 5 June; all members are required to be present.
For further information, please see the “Working Groups” page on the Smart Cities Stakeholder Portal, where you can also apply directly.
