HYDROPOWER-EUROPE, a multipartner initiative that aims to guide funding authorities and particularly the European Commission to prioritise support for the hydropower sector, is looking for stakeholders from the whole hydropower value chain.
Hydropower-Europe is seeking participants from a range of stakeholder groups – industry, government/regulatory oversight organizations, academia, education, civil society organizations, media, etc. to take part in a consultation process through wider online consultation, expert workshops and the series of regional and Brussels based events. These consultation events will take place over the next months until the completion of the project in October 2021.
Stakeholders are invited to provide their inputs in order to define a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (R&IA) and a Strategic Industrial Roadmap (SIR), which aim at shaping public spending for R&I and formulate recommendations on hydropower for the EU policy framework.
The next events will be the 2nd expert workshop and an online consultation, respectively in May and June 2019.
