Due to the current situation caused by coronavirus COVID-19, the application phase of Helsinki Energy Challenge has been extended until 30 September 2020. We want to give innovators around the world time to adapt to this new situation we are all in. The competition process otherwise remains the same, as decarbonising Helsinki’s heating and making Helsinki carbon neutral by 2035 keeps on being one of our top priorities.

Helsinki Energy Challenge webinars
Due to the restrictions of the coronavirus outbreak, we have cancelled the Helsinki Energy Challenge events that were to take place around the world during spring 2020. Instead, we will organize webinars and other online events. In these sessions you will have an opportunity to learn more about Helsinki Energy Challenge, to network with others who are interested in the Challenge and to find new team members to partner with. The first webinar will take place 28 April 2020.
