2nd European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels

Following the success of the 1st European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels held on 2012,  the Directorate General for Energy in close cooperation with the European Algae  Biomass Association and coordinators of FP7 algae demonstration projects is organising the 2nd European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels.

The Workshop will take place in Brussels on 24 April 2014 and will be structured on the basis of invited presentations and panel discussions.

The purpose of the Workshop is to discuss with all key stakeholders the progress achieved over the past two years since the 1st European Workshop on LCA for Algal Biofuels took place and to deliberate the present status of Life Cycle Analysis for Algal Biofuels in an effort to benchmark to whatever possible extend LCA methodologies.
