On 23 February, EUREC finalised this submission to the Horizon Europe public consultation.

The subheadings are:

  • Better monitoring of how much is left in Horizon Europe’s different envelopes
  • Don’t raid Horizon Europe for the European Sovereignty Fund
  • At least 35% of Horizon Europe’s budget to be spent on climate-relevant work

• Horizon Europe’s programming
  • Thumbs-up to ETIPs as a provider of stakeholder advice on the Work Programme
  • Don’t reduce the granularity of Work Programmes
• No to the lump-sum funding model
• Lists of evaluators: more meta-data needed
