During the presentation ceremony of the Technical Chamber of Cyprus on their Activity Report on Wednesday, 30 September 2020, Mr Andreas Livera was awarded with the ETEK Engineering Award 2020! Mr. Andreas Livera, Electrical Engineer and Researcher of the Photovoltaic Technology Laboratory and FOSS Research Centre for Sustainable Energy of the University of Cyprus, presented the development of the novel and automated tool for forecasting the photovoltaic power production «Suncaster». During his speech, Mr. Livera expressed his warm thanks both to ETEK for the award as well as to his colleagues from the Photovoltaic Technology Laboratory of the University of Cyprus and in particular, Mr Spyros Theoharides, Mr. Marios Kynigos, Dr. George Makrides and Professor George E. Georghiou. The award was granted by the Honorable Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Mr. Giannis Karousos.
