EKLIPSE is developing a European Mechanism to answer requests from policy makers and other societal actors on biodiversity related issues. The calls aim to create working groups that address a targeted, policy-relevant question within a transparent and open framework.
CALL FOR EXPERTS No.4/2017, EKLIPSE
Extended deadline until 22nd October
Topic: How can environmental regulators support businesses to improve the outcomes of their operations for biodiversity, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and beverage sector in Europe?
For details, we kindly invite you to take a look at the detailed call text here or to visit EKLIPSE’s dedicated website for open calls.
EKLIPSE is inviting experts to join an expert working group (EWG) to assess and synthesize relevant knowledge related to approaches environmental regulators can use to support businesses to improve their outcomes for biodiversity, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises in the food and beverage sector in Europe (see call text). The group will be supported by the EKLIPSE team with additional content-related support as needed.
Getting involved will allow experts to gain further experience at the interface between science, policy and society and support the further development and application of biodiversity and ecosystem services in a business context. The working group experts will have full authorship of the work and the products that will be published under creative commons 4.0.
The EKLIPSE team cordially invites you to apply to join the working group via their online application form (they can only accept applications via the online form).
