On 30 June and 1 July 2026, EUREC members ORE Catapult and Northumbria University hosted the 75th College of Members.

During the first day, the EUREC team presented the association’s recent advocacy work and a tour of ORE Catapult’s facilities.

On the second day, EUREC members attended an Offshore Wind Symposium at the University of Northumbria, allowing them to network with renewable energy researchers.

The sessions sparked fantastic conversations, underscoring the critical role of offshore wind, floating wind, digital technologies, skills training, and international partnerships in accelerating the clean energy transition. The North East of England continues to be a powerhouse for renewable energy innovation, from pioneering offshore wind developments to today’s world-leading research, validation, and demonstration activities.
